Following the key transport day at the COP26 today and to underscore the importance of positive, maritime decarbonisation projects and messages, the International Windship Association (IWSA) will hold the Wind Propulsion Innovation Award 2021 virtual awards ceremony on Thursday, 11 November from 0900-1030 UK time.
These awards have seven categories from innovation, technology user, projects and small vessel awards through to two research categories and one for outstanding contribution to the sector. The 39 projects, papers and people were shortlisted by a panel of judges, many from leading industry stakeholders and altogether these have received over 40,000 votes over the last two weeks https://www.wind-ship.org/en/wind-propulsion-innovation-awards-2021/
