Holly joins us as a Senior Logistics Consultant and will also head up our supply strategy modelling in what is a brand new role created to strengthen SCALA’s core team and support the volume of supply chain strategy projects the business is being asked to undertake.

John Perry, MD of SCALA, said: “Following the disruption of the last 18 months, many businesses are looking to strengthen their supply chains by making them more agile and resilient, and SCALA are seeing a marked increase in projects requiring the strategic and analytical skills that Holly possesses.

“The role is perfectly suited to Holly’s data modelling expertise and wide-ranging experience of logistics operations, systems and finances. Through this experience and expertise, Holly will help SCALA ensure it continues to meet clients’ requirements for supply chain transformation so they can better manage the demands of today’s markets.”

On what Holly brings to the role, John added: “Holly is highly analytical and an expert in ‘end to end’ logistics with over 20 years’ experience in FMCG, multi-temperature and third party logistics. Crucially, her proficiency in logistics strategy include network optimisation modelling and a capability to provide concept design through to implementation, encompassing operations, finance, systems and project management. We are delighted to have her on board.”

Before moving into consulting, Holly worked in the logistics sector for Culina Group and Tibbett & Britten (now part of DHL), and arrives at SCALA boasting deep operational and commercial insights.

Speaking of her appointment, Holly said: “I’m passionate about helping businesses transform their supply chains because I’ve seen the dramatic effect it can have on overall commercial performance. It’s exciting to be a part of SCALA’s next phase of growth and to use the experience I’ve gained in various operational roles throughout my career alongside an expert team.

“We are already formulating plans to consolidate SCALA’s position as an industry leader and become the consultancy of choice for businesses seeking to optimise their supply chain management.”

SCALA is also in the process of strengthening its expert warehousing team to further accommodate the significant demand in warehouse design and optimisation projects requested by clients.
