The Singapore Shipping Association (SSA) was recognised as the Best Maritime Organisation at the 11th Shiptek International Maritime Awards 2019. The ceremony was held on 29th August in the Simpor Ballroom at the Marina Bay Convention Centre, Singapore.
On receiving the award, Mr Rene Piil Pedersen, Vice-President and Honorary Secretary of the Singapore Shipping Association said: “We are honoured to be recognised as the Winner in the Best Maritime Organisation category at the 11th ShipTek International Maritime Awards in 2019. An Association is only as strong as its members with their engagement, commitment and support. This award is a testament to the huge contribution from the maritime and offshore industry in Singapore who, as members of the SSA, are striving to make Singapore a second-to-none international maritime cluster.
