A well-respected logistics professional has been promoted to the role of Chief Commercial Officer as the business where he works continues to deliver exciting growth plans.
Adam Jones, 38, Managing Director at Carlton Forest 3PL, will assume the role on the group Board of Directors from Thursday 18th November, just ten months after he joined the company.
“Adam has made a significant impression on the board and the business, and his tenacity and determination for success has seen the 3PL division grow exponentially since he joined us,” said Mark Pepper, CEO, Carlton Forest Group. “His promotion to our board is very well deserved, and I know that he will be a great asset across all commercial operations of the group, including 3PL and renewables.”
Since February the 3PL division has doubled its footprint, both in warehouse space and turnover, and Adam has strengthened the 3PL team with a recruitment drive to secure some of the best professionals in the industry. Furthermore, his drive and enthusiasm for Carlton Forest Group complements Mark’s vision for the continued growth and development of the business over the next five years. His promotion strengthens an experienced and dynamic senior leadership team.
