Berkshire-based fulfilment specialist, Walker Logistics, has announced that it has expanded its senior management team with three key appointments.
Jo Denton has taken on the role of General Manager – a promotion from her previous position as the company’s Head of Business Management. Jo will be responsible for the day-to-day operational efficiency of Walker’s various sites and will continue to interface with key clients.
Wayne Petrie has also been promoted from within the company to become Walker’s Senior Warehouse Manager. He will oversee the smooth running of 200,000 square feet of ambient temperature high quality storage space and Walker’s ‘shop floor’ supervisors and team leaders will report directly to him.
Finally, Justin Wood has switched from his role as Account Manager to the newly created post of Transport Manager. He has been tasked with further developing the efficiency of Walker’s transport fleet.
