Schoeller Allibert, the European market leader in the production of recyclable, reusable and returnable transit packaging (RTP) solutions, will be showcasing its latest innovations at IntraLogisteX 2021 in July.

combo_EXCELSIOR_FAMILYThe company designs and develops pioneering bulk, handheld, stackable and nestable returnable packaging solutions for a vast range of industries, including retail, e-commerce, pharmaceuticals, food processing and ingredients, chemicals and automotive.

Jon Walkington, Sales and Marketing Director at Schoeller Allibert UK, said: “Schoeller Allibert is focused on developing reusable and recyclable plastic transit packaging solutions that support efforts to streamline supply chains and ensure they operate smoothly and efficiently. At the same time, we are wholly committed to delivering solutions that are sustainable and cost-effective.

“At IntraLogisteX, delegates will see the very latest innovations from our portfolio that optimise handling and ultimately, help to future-proof supply chain operations across multiple sectors.”

The Schoeller Allibert team will be at hand to discuss the company’s packaging rental and leasing models with SmartLink®, which can be used by businesses looking to boost their container capacity and upscale their fleet in a cost-effective and flexible way.

SmartLink uses LPWAN wireless technology to link individual containers and create a network of intelligent assets that can be managed and controlled via the secure cloud-based SmartLink platform.

“Customers benefit from premium quality returnable transit packaging for a fixed monthly cost, without capital expenditure investment,” said Jon. “Assets are equipped with a tag and unique ID and customers can choose the duration and type of contract. At the end of the contract, the containers are returned to Schoeller Allibert where they are thoroughly washed, inspected and, if necessary, repaired.

“This means all assets are re-used enabling customers to replace their inefficient legacy fleets with best-in-class RTP containers. At the end of the working life, materials are also not wasted. They get recycled and reused to create new high-quality assets. It’s a win win and fundamentally a better model for achieving supply chain resiliency.”

Visitors to stand 224 will see, among others, Maxinest® Evo and Maxinest eTail, Combo Excelsior®, SASI®, and Schoeller’s new, AutoStore®-accredited bin for automated warehousing.

SASI A range of totes and containers that has been developed with the unique needs and demands of system integrators and automated warehouse operatives at the forefront.

Creating the optimum blend of manual and digital technology, it is suitable for all industries and all types of conveyor belts, mini load, shuttle and multi-shuttle systems. Optional dividers enable the containers to be configured into a further eight different compartments and integrated pick-up points

Combo Excelsior The new standard in foldable IBCs for liquid foods, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals. Strong, durable, easy to clean and handle, and offering a market-leading folding ratio of 70%, Combo Excelsior is the most efficient solution for high value liquids and ingredients. It is fully compatible with automated handling systems and its unique, hygienic design offers optimised ergonomics and user-friendliness. It is fully repairable, maximising the life span of the solution, and recyclable at the end of its service life.

Maxinest eTail Designed in response to the acceleration of e-commerce in the grocery sector, Maxinest eTail is a new design that can incorporate dividers to ensure multiple customer orders can be stored separately in a single container. This ensures it is a highly versatile option for manual and automated handling applications alike. It also has a very high nesting ratio of 80% meaning return transportation costs and the logistics carbon footprint are minimised. Finally, it is fully interoperable with the rest of the Maxinest family. To boost hygiene, the Maxinest eTail tote incorporates a clever floor design that is flat and non-vented for easy cleaning and to contain any spilt liquids.

Maxinest Evo The ideal solution for in-store display, home delivery, click & collect and intra-logistics. This tote has been comprehensively tested to show best-in-class strength and dimensional performance compared to competitor products, ensuring it can withstand the rigours of the modern global supply chain. In addition, the enhanced range includes extra ventilation, without compromising structural integrity, for better food preservation during transit. Food quality and freshness is maintained through the supply chain, reducing costs associated with spoilage and waste.

IntraLogistex takes place July 1-2, 2021 at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry, UK. The Schoeller Allibert team can be found at Stand 224.
