Kerry Logistics Network Limited (‘Kerry Logistics’ or the ‘Company’; Stock Code 636.HK), Asia’s leading logistics service provider, has been crowned the Global Logistics Provider of the Year at the Payload Asia Awards 2016 (the ‘Awards’) for its third year running. The award ceremony was held in Hong Kong on 29 September 2016.

Organised by Payload Asia Magazine, the annual Awards recognises organisations that made a positive impact on the air cargo and supply chain industry and now comes to its 5th year. Winners are companies that have shown market adeptness, innovative thinking, superior strategy and excelled in the industry by rising above the very challenging global air freight market. The Industry Choice Award for Global Logistics Provider of the Year is voted through ranking by a highly respected industry panel.

At the award ceremony, Gary So, Deputy Managing Director of Kerry Logistics, expressed, “We are honoured to receive the award for the third consecutive year and see this as a continuous achievement for Kerry Logistics. It is encouraging to see the efforts of our team being recognised and respected by both our customers and the industry. We would like to thank the judging panel, Payload Asia readers and our customers for their ongoing trust and support. We will continue to deliver long term service excellence to our customers as their partner of choice.”

Kerry Logistics has been committed to becoming a leading logistics provider in Asia and across the globe. Over the past year, Kerry Logistics achieved sustainable business results against strong headwinds. The completion of the APEX acquisition in June has seen the Group break ground for its new gateway in trans-Pacific business and strengthened its global IFF capabilities. Kerry Logistics is also developing an overland transportation network for road, rail and intermodal freight services covering Central and West Asia. As global e-commerce grows, the Group will continue to strengthen its regional express capabilities to provide cost-effective “last-mile” deliveries to an expanding client base.
