Kerry Logistics Crowned Best 3PL at the 2016 Asian Freight, Logistics & Supply Chain Awards.

15 June, 16

Kerry Logistics Network Limited (‘Kerry Logistics’ or the ‘Company’; Stock Code 636.HK), Asia’s leading logistics service provider, received its first ever Best 3PL award at the 2016 Asian Freight, Logistics & Supply Chain Awards (‘AFLAS’) at a ceremony held in Shanghai on 14 June. On top of this momentous triumph, the Company was also named the Best Green Logistics Operator, a further testament to its best-in-class services and industry leading position in the region.

AFLAS provides distinctive accolade to top players in the industry for representing leadership, consistency in service quality, innovation, customer relationship management and reliability. Unlike other awards judged by panels, AFLAS winners are selected based exclusively on customer satisfaction and votes, a true representation of market views and values.

“We are thrilled and humbled to be winning the Best 3PL award for the very first time and see this as a milestone achievement for Kerry Logistics. It is also an encouraging affirmation to the continued efforts and determination of our team. We are grateful to our colleagues for delivering service excellence to a diverse portfolio of customers around the world who made this watershed feat a reality,” William Ma, Group Managing Director of Kerry Logistics expressed.

Since the inception of AFLAS in 1986, Kerry Logistics is the first homegrown Hong Kong business to be crowned the top place in the Best 3PL category. Previous winners of AFLAS have included reputable multinational corporations from around the globe with one worldwide express company being long-term winner of the Best 3PL award since 2005. This breakthrough recognition demonstrates appreciation from the industry of the Company’s steadily evolving success and commitment to providing customised solutions to international brands and MNCs.

William Ma continued,

“It is the concerted effort of our dynamic team of colleagues in 550 offices across 40 countries that made this journey of continuous improvement much more momentous and valuable. 2015 has been a year full of challenges but we were able to ride the waves and achieved satisfactory results. This year’s double win is a defining moment providing extra encouragement for our ongoing success. To be formally recognised by our peers also provides greater motivation for us to strive forward.”

AFLAS is organised annually by Asia Cargo News, a publication which recognises leading service providers including air and shipping lines, air and sea ports, and logistics, 3PLs and other associated industry professionals. The nomination and voting process allow more than 15,000 readers and e-news subscribers of Asia Cargo News to nominate and vote on who they viewed as the best service providers.
