Asset Alliance Group has supplied Scottish family-owned haulier Inverdell with a new DAF XF FTG.480 6×2 tractor unit on a three-year full-service contract hire deal, enabling the operator to respond to increasing demand for general and temperature-controlled freight.

The new vehicle will be in operation six days a week, carrying out the company’s general haulage work and supporting additional contracts with other operators close to its bases at Prestwick International Airport and Cairndow.

Inverdell’s Managing Director Allan Clark said: “With Christmas fast approaching, we wanted to make sure we could keep up with an increase in demand and additional work we’ve taken on to support local companies.

“Asset Alliance Group has provided us with the best vehicle for our needs and ensured we can operate to the highest standards during the Christmas period, into the new year and beyond.”

He added: “We’ve worked with Asset Alliance Group before and the team are always a pleasure to deal with. The whole process is straightforward, and the customer service is impeccable, I can’t fault it.”

The new tractor unit features Lane Departure Warning System, Vehicle Stability Control, Forward Collision Warning and Advanced Emergency Braking System, all for enhanced safety while on the road. Other features include built-in sat-nav, LED headlights and a fridge.

Asset Alliance Group’s comprehensive full-service contract hire is based on a single monthly payment which includes all safety inspections, maintenance, servicing and repairs, tyre cover, and full roadside assistance.

Clark said: “Maximising our uptime so the vehicles we need are always on the road is vital to us. The full-service deal gives us peace of mind that there is someone on hand to support us every time.”
