Britain’s leading independent supplier of cement, aggregates and concrete, Hope Construction Materials has awarded the largest British logistics business, Wincanton a six-year contract renewal to remain their supplier of choice for the provision of bulk and bagged cement road logistics.
Under the agreement, Wincanton will be responsible for delivering just short of a million tonnes per year with a national delivery profile of over 600 road journeys a week.
The new contract involves the renewal of the existing bulk agreement, with the addition of warehouse and bagged cement transport services from Hope’s flagship Dagenham facility, due to open this summer.
Chris Fenton, Managing Director at Wincanton, commented: “We have worked with Hope for many years and have supported them on their outstanding growth journey in recent times. Our relationship is built on close collaboration and trust and we look forward to continuing to work with Hope and build on this partnership.”
