Dedicated logistics specialists Freightline have announced they will be exhibiting during Multimodal 2021 when the conference takes place later this year. Freightline are one of nearly 150 companies that have confirmed their attendance for the event which is due to kick off in October, following last year’s cancellation.

Multimodal, now in it’s 14th year, is the UK and Ireland’s premier supply chain event and aims to represent “every logistics sector under one roof”.

The event, which is free to attend, is being held in the NEC in Birmingham will run across three days starting on the 19th of October and is set to include an exhibition, a learning programme, and networking events.

New initiatives introduced for this year will include a bespoke match-making service connecting shippers to each other and to exhibitors as well as a dedicated Freight Forwarders Village which has been designed as a marketplace to showcase products and services in a cost-effective way.

Sav Aulakh, Managing Director at Freightline, says: “We are excited to be exhibiting at Multimodal later this year. The three day event is the perfect opportunity for us to showcase our services and put what makes Freightline so special front and centre as well as giving us a chance to catch up on the latest industry innovations and meet with the other exhibitors and attendees. It will also be great to finally get back to meeting with people in person after what has been a uniquely strange 18 months.”

The annual Multimodal Awards which recognise excellence in air, road, rail, maritime, and freight forwarding services will also be taking place in Birmingham this year, taking place in the evening after the first day of the exhibition.

The awards show will be hosted by legendary footballer and England international star, Kevin Keegen.
