SEC Storage is delighted to announce its System Division’s Sales Director Gary Kirk will be part of the Prologis 100 Cycle Challenge taking place on 12th September 2019.
Celebrating a decade of fundraising for numerous charities, the Prologis challenge this year takes the cyclists on a 100 mile one-day route through the Malvern Hills and includes 1,000ft more climbing than previous years, so is set to test stamina and endurance.
Two years after taking on a London to Paris Cycle challenge, Gary will be getting back in the saddle to take on the challenge in aid of the mental health charity, Mind and has set a personal fundraising target of £500.
Gary Kirk commented,
“I haven’t really ridden seriously for the last 2 years. And for comparison, the longest day for the London to Paris was 85 miles, with a maximum 56 mile training ride in the build-up. So the Prologis 100 is going to be a real challenge!
“Mental health is really important to me, my family and the logistics industry as a whole, so I’ve set a £500 target to help motivate me and raise much needed funds for this excellent charity!”
added Gary.
