Beacon Roadways Limited, proud shareholder member of Pall-Ex is celebrating its impressive expansion after relocating to a new site, nine times bigger than the previous.

The haulage company had outgrown its previous 4,000 sq ft site in Stourbridge, West Midlands and has now moved to a 36,000 sq ft location within the same town to keep up with its substantial growth.

Established over 48 years ago, Beacon Roadways specialises in general haulage and palletised freight distribution. The new site will allow Beacon Roadways to further expand its offering to include warehousing and storage solutions, benefit from larger offices and extensive yard space to support its ever-growing fleet.

Now offering 33,000 sq ft of storage, the introduction of warehousing and storage capabilities to the business is proving to be a valuable addition, further enhancing the distribution services on offer to customers.

In addition to the site expansion, over the coming months, Beacon Roadways is planning to add to an already impressive fleet of vehicles to develop its general haulage offering.

Recently joining Pall-Ex as a shareholder member has bolstered the businesses already credible reputation and increased its pallet distribution services, making it an even more attractive choice for potential customers.

Emma Pain, Managing Director of Beacon Roadways, comments: “Our site expansion has perfectly aligned at a time of huge growth for the company, with the team seeing increased volumes alongside a number of new initiatives, showcasing this fantastic new era of Beacon Roadways. We are committed to providing the same outstanding services the business is known for on a far bigger scale and to a wider audience.
“With a recent investment into pallet racking, a brand new website, further service offerings for European and International distribution, and the introduction of enhanced IT systems, the business has seen significant developments over the past year, and I am looking forward to seeing Beacon Roadways continue to grow and expand.
“I feel extremely proud to be leading my team in the logistics industry as we continue to develop, especially as a young female Managing Director with many senior female members of staff and drivers, in an industry that is often considered to be male-dominated.”
Rebecca Wayte, Network Director - North at Pall-Ex Group, adds: “Beacon Roadways is a progressive business that has seen fantastic growth in recent years, despite the challenges the industry has been facing.
“Moving to a significantly larger site will continue to facilitate their expansion. It is an impressive and exciting milestone, and we’re delighted that the shareholder membership with Pall-Ex has had a positive impact on their journey.”
