Global Crewing and training event given radical makeover to meet future Maritime Industry’s challenges.

On 15-16 November 2016, the international crewing and training sector will meet at the world’s seafarer capital, Manila, to hear some of the world’s leading maritime professionals address the challenges faced in seafarer training, health and well-being, and recruitment.
CrewConnect Global, formerly Asia-Pacific Manning and Training, has evolved over the years to encompass global issues affecting the whole of the crewing and training sector.

Day one of the main conference will include a welcome and introduction from John Adams, Managing Director, Teekay Shipping Ltd, and Chairman of the Bahamas Shipowners’ Association, followed by a keynote address from Esben Poulsson, Chairman, International Chamber of Shipping, on the importance of seafarers in shipping.
Day two sees three sessions running in parallel. Track one will be covering: Recruitment and Retention; Track two will cover: Maritime Education and Training; Track three will look at: Safety at Sea (morning session), Seafarer Lifestyle and Welfare (afternoon session).
A brand new content theatre will be located on the exhibition floor featuring complimentary in-depth sessions presented by leading maritime organisations including Brightwell, Hunter Marine and Maritime Training Services (MTS).
In addition, the event offers more than 18 hours of dedicated networking and interaction opportunities and with the upcoming edition of CrewConnect Global, the organisers will be extending complimentary access of the
